Doctor Stone Season 4 is here, and it’s bringing some truly surprising moments. One of the biggest? Suika, the small but mighty scout with her signature watermelon helmet, suddenly becomes the last human alive on Earth. With everyone else petrified, Suika is left alone to carry the hope of humanity. Let’s take a closer look at why her story is so important and why fans are loving her role this season.
Suika has been part of the series since the early days, introduced as a child from Ishigami Village with a keen eye for detail and a love of science, inspired by Senku. Though often underestimated due to her size and playful nature, her curiosity and resourcefulness quickly made her an important scout for the Kingdom of Science.

In a post from the official Doctor Stone anime account, Suika is described as someone who has “continued to grow quietly and steadily,” setting the stage for her moment of significance in Season 4.
In Episode 10 of Doctor Stone: Science Future Part 2, Senku makes the bold and tragic decision to activate global petrification, turning every human on Earth to stone — a move made to protect them until it’s safe to revive civilization. This shocking event leaves only one person conscious and alive: Suika. The episode titled “Scientist, All Alone” reveals that she was accidentally left unpetrified during the process.
Season 4 opens with a global catastrophe: a second petrification event that once again turns all humans to stone. Everyone — from Senku and Chrome to Kohaku and Gen — is frozen.
Everyone… except Suika.
Left completely alone in a petrified world, Suika is forced to survive with no allies, no mentors, and no blueprint — just her memories and the science she’s learned from Senku.

What makes Suika’s story so powerful is that it doesn’t rely on fantasy. Everything she does — from making tools to trying to replicate the revival fluid (nitric acid) — is rooted in real-world science.
Key Challenges Suika Faces:
⭐ Isolation: No human contact for years. Her internal monologue becomes her only companion.
⭐ Self-sufficiency: She must gather food, craft shelter, and protect herself from wild animals and the elements.
⭐ Reinventing Chemistry: She experiments with ingredients, fails repeatedly, but refuses to give up. Her ultimate goal? Revive Senku and bring humanity back.
Her trial-and-error approach to science mirrors real scientific progress — slow, often painful, but deeply rewarding.
Suika's arc goes beyond mere survival — it’s about the spirit of human perseverance. Despite being young, scared, and alone, she channels everything she’s learned to reignite the flame of civilization.
Her story is a shift from Senku’s brilliant, fast-paced breakthroughs to a slower, more emotionally driven journey. This arc reminds us that science is not just about intellect — it’s about hope, resilience, and the refusal to quit.
The plot details and images from Episode 23 of the final season of Dr.STONE (SCIENCE FUTURE) have been released. This episode is scheduled to air on September 18 (Thursday) at 10:00 PM JST on Japan’s TOKYO MX, with worldwide streaming available shortly after on multiple platforms.

Doctor Stone Season 4 isn’t just another season — it’s a turning point in the series. Suika’s journey is heart-wrenching, scientifically fascinating, and deeply human. It's a reminder that even in total isolation, one person can make a difference.
