Players select dialogue, handle social tests, and make decisions that shape character interactions and determine which ending they reach; the experience runs about 1-2 hours with roughly 15,000 words of text and includes several content warnings for flashing lights, sudden sounds and potentially upsetting imagery.

Development Team

LOVE IS TRAUMA was assembled as a jam entry by a small collaborative team: Robobarbie led direction, programming and sprite work while contributing voice work; Allie Vera served as primary writer and editor; Cérise (languidnimbus) and Destini contributed writing and QA; Mike Young provided additional voice acting; Faefield Productions supplied music, SFX and additional voice work.
